43-Inch vs. 55-Inch Screen Repair: Is It Worth It?
When you throw a remote in anger and crack the screen, you are faced with a choice: Fix usage or Buy New? The answer depends heavily on the SIZE of your TV.
The 32-Inch Rule
For 32-inch TVs, a new screen costs ₹4,000+. A brand new Smart TV costs ₹9,000. Verdict: Buy New. Unless it has sentimental value, the rigorous repair isn't worth the savings.
The 55-Inch Equation
This is where the math flips. A new high-quality 55-inch 4K TV (Sony/Samsung) costs ₹60,000+. Replacing the screen costs around ₹18,000 - ₹22,000.
Verdict: Repair. You save nearly ₹40,000 by repairing. The rest of the TV (speakers, motherboard, power) is still perfectly fine.
The Nalasopara Factor
In our local market, we can often source 'Open Box' or 'Factory Seconds' panels which dramatically lower the repair cost further. Ask us about current stock availability!
