Top 3 Reasons Your Smart TV Won't Connect to Wi-Fi
Nothing is more annoying than sitting down for Netflix and seeing "No Network Connection." Before you blame your router, check your TV.
1. The "Date & Time" Bug
This is the weirdest but most common fix. If your TV's date is wrong (e.g., set to 1970), the secure HTTPS connection to Wi-Fi will fail. Go to Settings > General > Time and set it to "Automatic".
2. The Wi-Fi Ribbon Cable
Inside the TV, the Wi-Fi card connects to the mainboard via a thin cable. In LG WebOS TVs, this cable is folded tight and often breaks internally over time. Straightening or replacing this small cable usually fixes the issue.
3. DNS Flush
Try changing your TV's DNS settings manually to Google's DNS (8.8.8.8). This often bypasses local IP conflicts.
